Rhydd Run in a series of scouting only running races based at Rhydd Covert Scout Campsite run by Wyre Forest District Scouts. There are races available for all age ranges in the scouts and take place at various times throughout the year. The races are open to all who are in scouting across the UK. Fun running challenges are growing in popularity and popping up all other the place these days. From Mud runs to Obstacle Races, Bubble runs to Colour runs and everything in between. These races are great fun but are also expensive to attend. So we thought why not start a scouting only race series with the aim of keeping the costs as low as possible to make the events accessible as part of the scouting programme.
Rhydd Run started in 2019 with the first ever Rhydd Run S.O.S for the cub, scout and explorer sections in the Wyre Forest District only. Following the success of the first event we are now looking to grow the race series and open it up to the wider scouting community.

We are pleased to confirm that Rhydd Run S.O.S 2019 is now open to cub packs from the Wyre Forest District as well. Also the sign up deadline has been extended until Friday 8th November
