Rhydd Run Glow is a fun glow run based at Rhydd Covert Scout Campsite in Kidderminster, West Midlands. The run is suitable for all sections in scouting.
Squirrels & Beavers will run 1 lap of the course – approx 1.5km
Cubs will run 2 laps of the course – approx 3km
Scouts & Explorers will run 3 laps of the course – approx 4.5km
This is a fun run and not a race, it open to all abilities, you go at the speed that suits you best. You are welcome to walk, jog or run the course.
What is a Glow Run?
A glow run is a fun run where participants take part in the run once the sun has set. The course will be lit up with light installations including lots of fairy lights, UV, lasers and much more. The participants are encouraged to dress up in bright neon gear and glow sticks. There is also a warm up dance party with live DJ
Who can sign up?
The event is open to all youth sections in the scouting association.

What do I get for the entry fee?
Each participant will recieve a finishers medal and glow sticks for the run

4.30pm – Squirrel & Beaver Registration Opens
4.55pm – Squirrel & Beaver Briefing
5.00pm – Squirrel & Beaver race begins – Waves set off every 5 minutes following a warm up
5.00pm – Cub, Scout & Explorer Registration Opens
5.25pm – Cub, Scout & Explorer Briefing
5.30pm – Cub Scout & Explorer race begins – Waves set off every 5 minutes grouped by age following a warm up
6.30pm – Estimated finish time of last runners
